The Trip: The trip is fusion of Wildlife and Treks covering in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh of Eastern part of Northeastern Zone. Dibru- Saikhowa National Park is the last addition of National Park in Assam which is mainly famous for some rare species of Water land and Grassland Birds. It is having a collection of around 500 species with around 35 species of Mammals. Jungle walk and Boating is the best option to visit inside the Park. Located in the eastern most tip of Indian sub continent, Namdapha National Park, which is among the most dense forest in India is the largest National Park in Arunachal Pradesh which covers an area of 1972 sq kms. Its having the largest Bio Diversity with some rarest Flora and fauna. It boasts of more than 1000 species of Plant Species, around 500 species of Birds including Grey Peacock – Pheasant, Red Leaded and Ward’s Trogons, Wedge-billed Wren Babbler, Snowy throat-ed Babbler, Hill Partridges and beautiful Nuthatch, and five different species of the majestic Hornbill etc and good collection of various animal species. The altitude is range from 200 meters to over 4,400 meters.

DETAIL ITINERARY

Note: In Namdapha earlier, the permission was upto Vijay Nagar which is not very far from Myanmar Border. In present days, Authority dont permit till this point and so below mentioned itinerary is suitable for Tourist.

Day 1: Dibrugarh airport to Dibru Saikhowa NP (2 Hours drive)

Post arrival at Dibrugarh Airport, you will be pick up and drive to Guijan Ghat which is in the periphery of the Dibru Saikhowa National Park. Remaining time is free for you for locally roaming. If time permits, afternoon we will move to Maguri Motapung Beel (Lake) for Birding by Country boat. Overnight stay at Guijan.

Hotel: Eco Camp

Note: Good Hotel option is also there in Tinsukia Town which is only 11 kms away.

Day 2: In Dibru Saikhowa NP

Early morning set out for Birding Tour inside the National Park. The area is a mixture of Grassland and water land including the Dibru River. We will use machine Country boat and then on walk. Whole day Birding and Animal sighting. Before dark back to Guijan and overnight stay.

Hotel: Eco Camp

Day 3: Guijan to Namdapha NP (6 Hours drive)

Post breakfast, drive to Namdapha NP in Arunachal Pradesh. Reach Deban and check in at Forest Camp there. Remaining time is free at Deban Camp. Overnight stay.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 4: At Namdapha NP (Deban Camp to Hornbill Camp)

On this day we will start Trek inside the National Park. This day we will trek from Deban Camp to Hornbill Camp which is around 10 KMS stretch. Late afternoon we will pitch camp there (Dome Tent) and overnight stay.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 5: Hornbill Camp to Bulbulia Camp or Ranijheel Camp, 13 Kms or 15 kms Stretch

This day we will trek from Hornbill Camp to Bulbulia Camp or Ranijheel. Then camp and overnight stay.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 6: Ranijheel to Firm Base, 10 Kms stretch 

Ranijheel to Firm Base and camp there in evening.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 7: Firm base to Deban Camp via different route

Last day of trekking. This trekking route is around 11 Kms and before evening we will reach Deban Camp.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 8: Deban Camp to Digboi (5 Hours drive)

On this day, post breakfast, we will move back to Digboi (Oldest Oil refinery Town in India) which only few kms away from Margherita. By evening check in at Digboi Tourist Lodge or Namdang Guest House.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch

Day 9: Digboi to Dibrugarh Airport ( 3 hours drive)

This day move to Dibrugarh Airport to catch the flight for onward journey.

5. Liability for or insurance against personal injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods.

6. Expenses incurred due to change in oil price, mishaps, landslide, strike, political unrest etc. In such case, extra will be charged as per actual which will be collected directly from the guest.

7. Govt Service Tax extra as per applicable.

1. The above itinerary is not fixed and can be changed as per your convenience. Please do let us know via mail if you need any changes.

2. Regarding Accommodation, it would be as per availability and best rooms will be given priority in every place. Also note that, here in North East India, only in few places the luxury accommodations are available. But, we always keep in mind about the hygiene and cleanliness.

3. Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes, bad weather, landslide etc., which are beyond our control, all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes without prior notice and any additional cost, will be borne by the guests directly.

4. For Arunachal Pradesh tours, all Indian Tourists require ILP (Inner Line Permits) and Foreign Nationals require PAP (Protected Area Permit). We arrange this permits on behalf of guests. Tourists need to send us their copy of Identity & address proof such as Driving License, Voter ID or Valid Passport (even VISA for Foreign Nationals) with Passport sized photo.
