The Green & Clouds
Assam- Meghalaya Tour
Durations: 5 nights/6 days
Best time to visit: November 1st to April 30th of each year.
About: The most common and pleasant tour in NE India. Covering both Wildlife and Hills, this journey is comfortable and majestic. The hilly Meghalaya (the abode of Clouds) is a cool, pine-fresh contrast to the sweaty Assam plains. Collections of many numbers of waterfalls, Cherrapunji and Mawllynnong are among the Wettest land on Earth. During British rule, Meghalaya was dubbed the “Scotland of the East” and made Shillong the capital of colonial Assam. Assam’s must do attraction is a rhinoceros spotting safari in the expansive flat grasslands of Kaziranga NP. Populations of over 2,000 rhinos represents over two-thirds of the World’s total.
