Kaziranga Nationa Park (Assam)
Kaziranga National Park lies partly in Golaghat District and partly in Nagaon District of Assam. It is the oldest park in assam covers an area of 430 Sq kms along the river Brahmaputra on the North and the Karbi Anglong hills on the South.
Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site and a Tiger Project is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros. Other residents of the park include elephants, Indian bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon etc and a host of resident and migratory birds.
Amongst the birds, the crested serpent eagle is common while palla's fishing eagle and gray headed fishing eagle are frequently seen. Others include the Great Adjutant Stork, crane, Bengal florican, bar-headed goose, whistling teal, and pelican.
Distance from Guwahati to Kaziranga is about 5 hours journey by car. The park is open from November to April.

Day 1: Guwahati Airport-Kaziranga National Park (6 Hours drive)
Our tour representative will welcome you at the Guwahati International Airport and then move to Kaziranga, around 6 hours journey from Airport. By evening check in hotel and overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 2: At Kaziranga NP
Early morning avail one round of Elephant back safari.
Post breakfast, avail one round Jeep safari in Central Range.
Afternoon avail one more round of Jeep safari in Western range of Kaziranga.
Evening back to hotel and overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 3: At Kaziranga
Early morning move to Burhapahar Range for Jungle trail. Spot Hoolock Gibbons, Birding Life and other wildlife. Before noon back to Hotel. Afternoon, avail one more Jeep safari in Eastern range of Kaziranga NP which is famous for various collection of Birds.
Evening back to Hotel, camp fire and overnight stay.
Day 4: Kaziranga NP and then to Jorhat
Morning avail one more round of Jeep safari in Kaziranga. Post lunch move to Jorhat, via Golaghat. En route visit Uncle Robin Banerjee’s life Museum, who initially promoted Kaziranga National Park in the World scenario and was a naturalist.
Evening reach Jorhat and overnight stay.
Day 5: Jorhat to Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary to Jorhat
Early morning move to Gibbon WLS. It covers an area of 20.98 km 2 in Jorhat district of Assam. It is abode of seven species of Primates namely: Western Hoolock Gibbon, Capped langur, Slow Lorris, Stump Tailed Macaque, Pig Tailed Macaque, Rhesus Macaque, Assamese Macaque. Other attractions are various species of Birds. Whole day at Gibbon WLS.
Evening back to Jorhat and overnight stay.
Day 6: Gibbon WLS to Nameri National Park
Early breakfast and then move to Nameri national park, 253 KMs, around 5 hours journey. Evening check in at Nameri Eco-Camp or Prashanti Eco Lodge. Overnight at nameri.
To Jorhat Airport for onward journey.
