Namdapha NP, is one of the avifaunally most diverse areas in the World. The wide altitudinal range (200 to 4571 m MSL) supports a huge diversity of habitats.

Over 500 species of birds are recorded here including a large number of rare, endemic and restricted range species of global conservation importance. It is also one of the few Indian Protected areas with five species of Hornbills.

Day 1: Reach Dibrugarh and overnight stay

Post arrival at Dibrugarh airport, move to Hotel for overnight stay. Remaining time is free.

Hotel: Mid Range

Day 2: Dibrugarh to Miao of Changlang District of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh

Post breakfast, drive to Miao (5 Hours drive around) which is the Headquarter of Changlang district of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh. The roads after Assam part is rough and the vegetation will change. Post arrival, check in to Namdapha Eco Camp situated on the bank of Noa-Dehing. Remaining time is free to roam around.

Overnight stay at Eco Camp.

Day 3: Dewan and Hornbill Campsite (5 to 6 Hours Trek)

After early breakfast, start moving to Dewan Camp (22 Kms) and then start trek upto Campsite named – Hornbill. The treks generally take around 4 hours. The landscape is mainly of tall trees and the Campsite is nestled in dense forest.

The chances of spotting Birds are Oriental Pied Hornbill, Woodpecker, Maroon Oriole and if lucky you may spot Flying Squirrel.

Campfire and overnight stay.

Day 4: Hornbill to Firmbase (6 to 7 hours Treks)

Start early and continue trek through dense forest. During the trek you will encounter various species of Butterflies, insects, Birds. Lunch at Ranijheel, which is a dried water body now. This is also a good site for camping and Birding spot. Walk down to Namdapha river and camp there for overnight stay in Tent.

Day 5: Firmbase to Imbiong (7 to 8 Hours Treks)

Cross the Namdapha River and continue the trek and visit a small forest village belong to Lisu Tribe. It may be tough for walking on the river bed of Namdapha River but after that its easy to cover the remaining part. Stop some time at the village and interact with these local tribe who are total isolated from the rest of the World. After that continue trek upto Imbiong Camp site on the bank of Noa Dehing river. Tent accommodation and overnight stay.

Day 6: Imbiong to Baloo Khat (6 Hours Treks)

Today continue the trek on the grasslands which is continue on the bank of the River Noa Dehing. Cross a Bamboo bridge after sometime. On this day, whole the trek root is a combination of Climb Ups and down. On the last, reach the Campsite for overnight stay.

Tent accommodation.

Day 7: Baloo khat to Dewan to Miao (6 Hours)

Last day of the trek. Start a steep ascent from the Campsite through thick tropical forests.

This is a famous Birding spot and chances of getting good collections of species of Birds.

After that its steep descent and meets the Vijaynagar road. Drive and move to Miao.

Overnight stay at Eco Camp.

Day 8: Miao to Digboi/Margherita (3 Hours drive)

Post breakfast, move to Margherita or Digboi. Remaining time roam locally.

Overnight stay.

Day 9: Drop at Dibrugarh Airport

Tour ends here.

4. Cost for Travel Insurance, airfare, train fare or any other internal fare.

5. Personal expenses such as laundry, soft drinks, mineral water, porter, tip, phone calls etc.

6. Liability for or insurance against personal injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods.

7. Expenses incurred due to change in oil price, mishaps, landslide, strike, political unrest etc.

In such case, extra will be charged as per actual which will be collected directly from the guest.

8. Please note, as it is a trek inside Deep forest, basic amenties such as Good meals, Lights etc will not be available and guests are requested to posses maximum flexibility during the trek.
