In Namdapha earlier, the permission was upto Vijay Nagar which is not very far from Myanmar Border. In present days, Authority dont permit till this point and so below mentioned itinerary is suitable for Tourist.
The trip is fusion of Wildlife and Treks covering in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh of Eastern part of Northeastern Zone. Dibru- Saikhowa National Park is the last addition of National Park in Assam which is mainly famous for some rare species of Water land and Grassland Birds.
It is having a collection of around 500 species with around 35 species of Mammals. Jungle walk and Boating is the best option to visit inside the Park. Located in the eastern most tip of Indian sub continent, Namdapha National Park, which is among the most dense forest in India is the largest National Park in Arunachal Pradesh which covers an area of 1972 sq kms. Its having the largest Bio Diversity with some rarest Flora and fauna.
It boasts of more than 1000 species of Plant Species, around 500 species of Birds including Grey Peacock – Pheasant, Red Leaded and Ward’s Trogons, Wedge-billed Wren Babbler, Snowy throat-ed Babbler, Hill Partridges and beautiful Nuthatch, and five different species of the majestic Hornbill etc and good collection of various animal species.
The altitude is range from 200 meters to over 4,400 meters.
Best time to visit: Last week of Nov to March end (Namdapha National Park which falls in semi Tropical zone, faces lots of rain in maximum time of the year. So it is advisable to visit in above mentioned time)
