Assam- Arunachal Pradesh Tour
Durations: 7 nights/8 days

- Due to construction of road is going on by BRO, maximum portion of roads to Tawang is grim and it consumed lots of hours.

Day 1: Guwahati Airport to Tezpur (5 Hours drive)
Our tour representative will welcome you at the Guwahati International Airport then transfer to Tezpur or Nameri or Bhalukpung. Evening check in hotel and overnight stay there.
Tezpur is the beautiful town situated on the Northern Bank of Brahmaputra.
Day 2: To Dirang (7 hours drive)
Morning start early to Dirang. It is an ideal hill resort in West Kameng district with beautiful Apple Nursery, Kiwi Farm, Yak Research Centre (if possible), Buddhist Gompa.
Evening check in hotel at Dirang and overnight.
Day 3: Dirang to Tawang (6 Hours drive)
Morning move to Tawang. En route visit Jaswant Garh and Sela Pass (2nd highest motor able pass in the World, 13, 900 MSL). Evening check in Hotel at Tawang.
Overnight at Tawang.
Day 4: In Tawang
Whole day sight seeing at Tawang. Attractions: Tawang Monastery (17th century, second largest in Asia), Craft centre, War memorial and overall sight seeing. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 5: In Tawang
Move to North Tawang, visit PT So Lake and Sangetsar Lake and other remaining lakes. By evening back to Hotel and overnight.
Note that during heavy snow fall, visiting North Tawang becomes risky. In that case we will avoid North Tawang. On the other hand, Bumla Pass is not permissible by Indian Army. So better forget this border place.
Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila (6 hours drive)
Start early morning to Bomdila. Situated at an altitude of 1497 meters, Bomdila is a picturesque town in the foothills of Himalayas and the capital of the West Kameng District. If lucky, one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad Gorichen ranges of the Himalaya on a clear day.
Evening check in hotel in Bomdila. Overnight.
Day 7: Bomdila to Tezpur or Guwahati (6 to 8 Hours drive)
Morning leave Bomdila and move to Tezpur. On the way, visit Tippi Orchid Sanctuary. By evening reach Tezpur and overnight stay.
Day 8: To Guwahati Airport or Railway station (5 Hours drive from Tezpur)
Start early morning to Guwahati airport or railway station to catch evening flight.
